
Fiona Xu focuses her practice on technology-related transactions.
Prior to joining ILS, Fiona worked as a senior corporate counsel for a unicorn start-up, where she took the legal executive leadership role and guided the company on US regulatory compliance, global tax structure, cross-border reorganizations, intellectual property migrations, and transfer pricing issues.
Fiona works with clients in a wide range of industries and at all stages of their life cycles. Her practice includes advising emerging and high-growth tech companies on board, investment, and subsidiary structuring matters; drafting and negotiating complex intellectual property license agreements; agreements associated with technology and IP mergers, acquisitions, and spinoffs; agreements with key customers, contractors, developers, manufacturers, suppliers, channel partners, and other technology partners. Fiona also advises investors on fund formation and securities law matters.
Fiona is a passionate legal counsel, she helps companies maximize the value of their strategic relationships and the return on their equity investments, both domestically and internationally.
